The American Health Council has cordially appointed Ms. Lori Russell, MSN, to its prestigious Nursing Board. With over three decades of experience in the healthcare industry, Ms. Russell is an expert in the field of anesthesia and pain management.
From a young age, Ms. Russell always aspired to work in the healthcare industry. She naturally gravitated towards nursing as her mother was also a nurse, so saw the positive impact her mother had on numerous people’s lives.
Ms. Russell completed her Masters in Nursing at CAMC, graduating in 1992. Following this, she began her career in the healthcare industry as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist. She is now working at Dublin Pain Clinic and has been located there for the past 25 years. The clinic help their patients with pain management and offer the service of anesthesia. Ms. Russell fulfils a variety of responsibilities on a daily basis but mainly conducts conscious sedation and pain medicine injections.
Having had a successful career over the past 30 years, Ms. Russell attributes her success to the previous work experience she has completed, her education, and family.
To continue to share and expand her knowledge, Ms. Russell is a member of the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA). Looking into the future, Ms. Russell aims to begin teaching a Masters course. In her free time she enjoys travelling to new places.
