The American Health Council has cordially appointed Dr. Darshan Mistry to its prestigious Physician Board in recognition of his extensive contributions to the field. Having amassed an impressive 36 years of service to the healthcare industry, Dr. Mistry is widely renowned for his dedication, particularly through his work as a Physician.
Dr. Mistry always knew he would work in healthcare due to his natural passion for helping others and his ability to put the needs of his patients first. Alongside these key attributes, he believes his success also comes from his upbringing and a strong work ethic.
Focusing his studies on Internal Medicine, Dr, Mistry completed his M.D., at the B.J Medical College (Ahmedabad, India), graduating in 1982. Later on in his career in 1992, Dr. Mistry had the opportunity to complete his FACP residency at the Lutheran Medical Center.
Dr. Mistry has been undertaking the role of Physician at the University Hospitals – Cleveland for the past 15 years. Displaying expertise in Internal Medicine, the esteemed doctor’s daily responsibilities focus on the diagnosis and treatment of patients with chronic illnesses, and in particular, the areas of disease prevention and health formation.

Among his many accomplishments, Dr. Mistry holds the achievement of completing his residency in Lutheran Medical Center in particularly high esteem. As a reflection of his long and successful career, he is also proud to have become a Fellow of the American College of Physicians, alongside his membership to the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Looking to the future, Dr. Mistry is actively seeking out new opportunities to teach and has plans to move to the Tampa area of Florida. Outside of work, Dr. Mistry dedicates his time to Community Health Facilities.
