The American Health Council has warmly welcomed Ms. Mary Gannon Mancini to its prestigious Occupational Therapy Board. Drawing on over 21 years in the healthcare industry, Ms. Gannon Mancini, from Landsdale, Pennsylvania, is highly regarded for her expertise in Early Intervention and Pediatrics.
Ms. Gannon Mancini’s father needed therapy and she was inspired by the impact his therapists had on his life. She always enjoyed healthcare and decided that occupational therapy would be the best route to take.
Opting to progress her studies at Temple University, Ms. Gannon Mancini attained her MS and OTR/L qualifications. She currently works as an Occupational Therapist at Children’s Therapy Center. Daily, Ms. Gannon Mancini works in a school-based therapy setting. She works with students with sensory needs, works on handwriting skills and intervenes early to ensure the best outcomes possible.
Reflecting on her successes, Ms. Gannon Mancini attributes her achievements to the support she received from her husband, mother, sister, and extended family. She has also been fortunate enough to be a part of an excellent team of professionals.
Ms. Gannon Mancini remains extremely proud of the longevity of her pediatric career and holds her affiliation with Easter Seals in high regard. Over the next five years, she plans to continue working in a school-based therapy setting and keeping up her skill set. She also intends to continue working with a mixed population.
In addition to her dedication to the field, Ms. Gannon Mancini is also extremely charitable and serves as a North Penn High School Booster Club Representative. She also supports Alex’s Lemonade Stand.
