Bumble Bee Foods announced the recall of three types of their Chunk Light Tuna due to problems in the commercial sterilization process. In an announcement posted on their website, the company said that the process deviations could result in contamination by spoilage organisms or pathogens, which could lead to life-threatening illness if the products are consumed. A total of 31,579 cases produced in February 2016 and distributed nationally were included in the recall.
