

Parent’s it is time to hide the empathy when your infant gets a shot! Researchers at York University have found a strong connection between parent behavior and infants vaccinations. Studies show that the parent emotions (fear and anticipation) before and during their infants vaccinations, leads to how their child is going to react to shots in the future.
“Psychology Professor Rebecca Pillai Riddell’s lab investigated factors contributing to the anxiety that preschoolers experience in anticipation of pain when getting their vaccines. The pain study found that past and continuing behavior of the parent was the biggest reason for this suffering.”
