As you know, recent natural disasters have put a spotlight on public health and well-being of underserved populations, particularly children and the elderly. The road to recovery will be a long one, but together we can make a difference. We hope Texas members of AHC will join in to help raise funds and awareness for continued health outreach, during the second annual Big Shots ParTee event benefiting the Caring for Children Foundation of Texas.
The Big Shots ParTee event will be held on Saturday, November 11, 2017 from 6:00 pm – 11:00 pm at Topgolf Dallas; presented by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas. Mike Doocy, weeknight sports anchor at FOX 4 News is serving as Emcee of the ParTee. While pro golfer, Scott Fawcett is anxious to shoot some ‘do over shots’! Attendees may participate in the event as a golfer or spectator; mingle with colleagues or clients and have fun bidding on exciting auction items!
Through mobile outreach, the Caring Foundation is committed to protecting communities against vaccine-preventable disease and want to ensure Texas does not face a public health crisis, particularly among the most vulnerable. For more than 20 years, the Care Van® Program has offered mobile health outreach completely free of charge to help eliminate financial and geographic barriers to health care access. During the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey, the Care Van Program was there to offer free tetanus and flu vaccine to hundreds of evacuees. It is the only statewide program of this kind – helping to prevent disease outbreaks and save millions in unnecessary healthcare costs, but it cannot be done alone.
The $1,500, $3,000 or $5,000 level sponsorships are still available. Sponsors and guests can support Hurricane Harvey health outreach, help sustain Caring Foundation’s mission, and have fun too! Event will feature a unique golf tournament (Mulligan’s available, prizes awarded), silent and live auctions, music, dinner, drinks, networking, and reception with special surprise “Big Shot” guests!
To sponsor the event or register a team (group) to play in the Topgolf tournament, review attached registration information – form may be emailed or faxed securely as indicated. Sponsorship deadlines applicable for all print materials.
All event proceeds benefit the Caring for Children Foundation. Please consider attending of the most fun events happening in Dallas, Saturday, November 11th.

We’re looking forward to a great event and thank you in advance for your support!
