Since its early days, The Jewish Hospital has always welcomed and cared for people of every faith.

The Jewish Hospital’s legacy of teaching the next generation of physicians dates back more than 100 years, and today, residents in surgery, medicine, podiatry and pharmacy all train at The Jewish Hospital. Their services include the region’s only adult Blood & Marrow Transplant Center; a premier Joint Replacement Center performing nearly 1,000 total joint replacements every year; the region’s most experienced mobile mammography program; the Weight Management Center and full-spectrum cardiovascular and emergency services.

Looking back at her successes to date. Ms, Laycock attributes her passion for nursing and in particular her ‘old school’ style, providing excellence in care to every patient due to loving what she does on a daily basis. Proud of opening her own consulting business, KL Consulting provides services which include infection control surveillance, policy revisions, flu tracking and reporting. Looking to the future, Ms. Laycock aspires to expand consulting services to include legal nurse consulting, having completed the AALNC courses whilst continuing her involvement in bedside nursing.

In her time outside of work, Ms. Laycock enjoys spending quality time with her family. She is extremely proud of her home, a 5-acre mini farm where she tends to her animals comprising of cats, dogs and chickens. Whenever possible, Ms. Laycock also dedicates her time to volunteer work with the League for Animal Welfare.
