    CDC, public health and regulatory officials in several states, and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA)external icon are investigating a multistate outbreak of Salmonella Concord infections linked to Karawan brand tahini.
  • Raw Oysters - Multiple Pathogens May 13, 2019
    CDC and public health and regulatory officials in several states are investigating a multistate outbreak of gastrointestinal illnesses linked to raw oysters harvested from Estero El Cardon estuary in Baja California Sur, Mexico.
  • Ground Beef – E. coli infections April 15, 2019
    A total of 109 people infected with the outbreak strain of E. coli O103 have been reported from six states. ◦Seventeen people have been hospitalized. No cases of hemolytic uremic syndrome, a type of kidney failure, have been reported. No deaths have been reported
  • Pre-cut Melons – Salmonella infections April 15, 2019
    •On April 12, 2019, Caito Foods LLC recalled pre-cut watermelon, honeydew melon, cantaloupe, and pre-cut fruit medley products containing one of these melons supplied at the Caito Foods LLC facility in Indianapolis, Indiana.
